We'll Wonder is about a Love triangle, The woman Loves two men and is sleeping with both. They all know what is going on, one of the men knows and doesn't care, the other wants her for himself but cant seem to stop being apart of the mess. The ambiguous verses can be taken as a perspective of each man, or both sides of the same man.
lyrics
We’ll Wonder
i think i lost my self in your eyes
(i,i,i,i)
i know i told my self youre alright
(i,i,i,i)
out of sight out of mind out of reach
i can’t believe it when you speak
i’ll wonder
how many mornings do you wake clothed in his arms?
how many mornings should i wait?
you make me wanna wanna
you make me wanna sayx2
good loving’ don’t come easy
with his arms around your waist girl
oh yeah
(arms around your waist)
and i don’t care what he says babe
(i, don’t care)
ima lay that body down
(body down)
and i don’t care how many days he’ll wonder
I’m sure he’ll lose himself in that smile
(I’m sure, lose)
I’m sure he’ll tell himself
(tell myself, tell myself, tell myself)
youre alright
out of sight, out of mind, out of reach
he won’t believe it when you speak
he’ll wonder
how many mornings do you wake clothed in my arms?
how many mornings should he wait?
did you make him wanna wanna
did you make him wanna say? x2
good loving don’t come easy
with his arms around your waist girl, oh yeah
(arms around your waist)
(uh,uh,uh)
uh you never tried to be the finest girl on the scene
(finest girl on the scene)
but you had to keep it real when you was living in between
(living in between)
the faces the places on heart brake river
(heartbreak river)
every player a killer and every lover a victimization
is the
(every love a victim)
word no victim is every heard
(no victim is every heard)
till now we getting loud, profound in every sound
(profound in every sound)
no way of getting round you brak'em and then you’re proud
(oo,oo,oo,oo)
hearts carried away in shrouds
yet you were never how?
yet you were never hurt cherished like spit and dirt
(you, cherished like spit and dirt)
uh up and down your shirt
(up and down your shirt)
consumed by baby love
anything to fit a glove
(oo,oo,oo,oo,oo,oo,oo,oo)
yet heaven is so far
star crossed lovers and were dangerous with these scars.
ah
you make me wanna wanna
you make me wanna sayx2
good loving’ don’t come easy
with his arms around your waist girl
oh yeah
ill never love again
